  • What sheet metal materials are widely used in the electronic and electrical industry

    There are many sheet metal materials suitable for stamping. The sheet metal materials widely used in the electronic and electrical industry include: 

    1. Common cold rolled sheet SPCC SPCC means that the steel ingot is rolled continuously through a cold rolling mill to require thickness of steel sheet coils or sheets. There is no protection on the surface of the steel sheet or sheet material. It is easy to be oxidized in the air, especially in the wet environment, the speed of oxidation is accelerated, and the dark red rust appears. Spray paint, plating or other protection when used. 

    2. Galvanized steel plate SECC The substrate of SECC is a general cold rolled coil. After degreasing, pickling, electroplating and all kinds of post-treatment processes, the zinc electroplating product has not only the mechanical properties and similar processability of the cold rolled steel sheet. And has superior corrosion resistance and decorative appearance. In electronic products, home appliances and furniture in the market has a lot of competition and substitution. For example, the computer case is commonly used is SECC. 

    3. Hot dip galvanized steel plate SGCC Hot dip galvanizing steel coil means that the semi-finished product after hot rolling pickling or cold rolling is cleaned, annealed and immersed in a molten zinc bath at a temperature of about 460 °C so that the steel sheet is coated with zinc layer and then adjusted and tempered and chemically treated to make the material. SGCC is harder than SECC material. Poor ductility (avoid deep pumping design, thick zinc layer, poor weldability. 

    4. Stainless steel SUS301 The content of Cr (Cr) is lower than that of SUS304, and the corrosion resistance is poor. However, cold working can obtain good tensile force and hardness, good elasticity, and is used for spring and anti-EMI. 

    5. Stainless steel SUS304 One of the most widely used stainless steels has better corrosion resistance and heat resistance than steel containing Cr (Cr) because of Ni (Ni). It has very good mechanical properties, no heat treatment hardening, no elasticity.
