  • What Is The Milling Process

    In Machining process there are CNC Machining, CNC turning, Automatic lathe turning, CNC Milling,Stamping, Sheet metal fabrication, Casting, Injection molding etc


    NC lathe can be used for machining complex rotary body shape. Milling is to fix the blank and use a high speed rotary cutter to walk on the blank to cut out the desired shape and characteristics. Traditional milling is used for simple contour features such as milling contours and grooves. NC milling machine can be used to process complex shapes and features. Milling and boring machining center can be used for triaxial or multi-axis milling and boring, such as machining, mould, inspection tools, placings, thin-walled complex surfaces, artificial prostheses, blades, etc. When selecting NC milling content, the advantages and key functions of NC milling machine should be brought into full play. 

    A common cold metal machining method differs from turning in that the tool rotates at a high speed driven by the spindle and the workpiece is relatively static. Distinction between turning and milling: Turning is used to process rotary parts. The parts are clamped on the main axis of the machine through three chucks and rotated at high speed. Then the tool is used to cut out the shape of the product according to the busbar of the rotary body. Lathe can also be used for internal holes, threads, nibbling, etc., the latter two are low-speed machining.
