The surface roughness of castings can reach Ra3.2 to 12.5 μ m, the dimensional precision of castings can reach to CT7 to 9, and the machining allowance is up to 1.5 to 2mm, which can greatly reduce the cost of machining. Compared with the traditional sand casting method, it can reduce the machining room by 40% to 50%.

The order of good and poor applicability of casting material is: Gray cast iron, non-ferroalloy, ordinary carbon steel, ductile iron, low carbon steel and alloy steel; through necessary preparation, the debugging period is too long. 3.
