    The production process of machinery refers to the whole process of making products from raw materials (or semi-finished products). For machine production, such processes as transportation and preservation of raw materials, preparation of production, manufacture of blank, processing and heat treatment of parts, assembly of products, debugging, painting and packaging, etc. Modern enterprises use the principles and methods of system engineering to organize and direct production, and regard the production process as a production system with input and output.

    In the process of machining and producing precision mechanical parts, the process of changing the shape, size, position and property of the production object to make it into a finished product or a semi-finished product is called a technological process. It is a major part of the production process. The technological process can be divided into foundry, forging, stamping, welding, machining and assembling processes. The mechanical manufacturing process refers to the sum of the machining process of the parts and the assembly process of the machine. Other processes are called auxiliary processes, such as transportation, custody, power supply, equipment maintenance, etc. The process consists of one or more sequential processes. A process consists of several steps.
